CWC is a training ground for those who wish to deepen their faith in God. We believe the Bible is the source for all answers, and yet understand it can be very difficult to understand and interpret. We offer the following classes to help alleviate some of these concerns, and help better prepare you to live an effective Christian life. You can sign up for any of these classes on online, on the communication card given to you during service, or at our Ministry Connection Center located at the front entrance of our church.
Sharing your Faith
Matthew 28:19 tells us to go into the whole world and make disciples of all people. Our goal for all members is "every member a minister." This means, with our training and your commitment, you will discover and utlize your God given gifts to grow this church and the Kingdom of God by bringing in new people. We desire each member to invite their unchuched and unsaved friends and family to CWC by way of sharing their faith and evangelism. You can do this by:
1. Enrolling in Class 401.
2. Telling people about your relationship with Christ.
3. Inviting them to the Life Group/Ministry you attend.
4. Inviting them to a weekend worship service.
5. Starting a Life Group.
6. Working with the Blaze Abroad T.E.A.M. (outreach).
7. or, All of the above!
Commit to inviting at least 10 people a week to church, and bringing at least 1 new person every week. Watch how God changes your life as you begin to share your faith!
Celebrating New Life (for new believers)
CNL teaches the steps and foundation to becoming a Christian. Many people want to build a relationship with Jesus Christ, but really don’t know how. In this class you’ll learn practical lessons on what it really means to be a Christian, why every believer should be baptized, and how to strengthen your faith in God.
Fundamental Foundations of the Bible
The number one desire people have when they attend CWC is, “I want to learn more about the Bible.” Or in other words, they desire to know how to build healthy and effective study habits. This 7-week class introduces you to the Bible by exploring how it was compiled, its authors, and how to find a study habit that fits your personality and daily schedule.
Partners In Ministry 101 – 401
Just as it doesn’t make sense for you to buy a car you’ve never test driven, we don’t believe it makes sense to join a church you know nothing about. PIM 101 - 401 offers you the opportunity to discover our values, our mission and vision, how to become a strong Christian, your gifts and how they can be used to serve God and the local church, and how to witness to your unchurched family and friends. After PIM 101, you will be able to decide whether this church is a good fit for you or not. No pressure (unless you really want us to!).
Are you Saved?
Although we have product to offer you, the best “product” we have to offer you is salvation from Jesus Christ. Did you know that Jesus Christ is Lord? Well, He is, and He loves you and wants to be Lord and Savior of your life. Many people want to be saved, but really don’t know how. Romans 10:9 says, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Do you believe that? If you want to be saved right now, and want the love and peace from Jesus simply pray the following prayer out loud:
“Lord Jesus forgive me of my sins. I believe that you died for my sins, that you were buried, and that God the Father raised you from the dead. I open the door to my heart, and I receive into my heart as my Lord and Savior”
Friend, if you prayed that prayer we believe that you are now saved. Jesus now lives in your heart. I John 4:4 says, “He who is in you is greater than he that is in the world!” Contact us and let us know you are now saved. We want to rejoice with you and offer you a special gift from us to you.
